Crafting Engaging Motion Graphics for Product Launches

Challenge

Anchorage Digital needed a series of motion graphics videos to support key product launches—including their NFT custody feature and customizable API offerings—while boosting brand visibility and client engagement. Each video had to tell a compelling story across web, social media, and major events while maintaining client privacy and adhering to evolving brand guidelines.

Process

I developed a motion graphics style that aligned with Anchorage’s evolving brand and effectively showcased their products.

  • NFT Custody Feature – To highlight Anchorage Digital as the first U.S. bank to custody an NFT without revealing client assets, I used silhouettes and a reimagined product interface, creating a visually engaging yet compliant video.

  • "Build with Anchorage Digital" API Campaign – I simplified complex API offerings into clear, digestible animations, collaborating closely with the marketing team to ensure the messaging resonated with the target audience.

Through storyboarding, iteration, and cross-team collaboration, I refined each video to deliver maximum impact.

Impact

The "Tools for Collectors" video played a pivotal role in growing Anchorage Digital’s LinkedIn following from 15K to over 26K, driving engagement across social media and the company website. Meanwhile, the "Building with Crypto" campaign video contributed to securing a partnership with AngelList, supporting over $80M in annual USDC investments. Beyond external impact, the motion content also energized the internal team, with employees enthusiastically sharing the videos—further amplifying brand visibility and reinforcing their effectiveness in shaping engagement and perception.

Key Learnings

This project emphasized the power of motion design in simplifying complex fintech concepts while maintaining brand integrity. I gained deeper insight into creating versatile, multi-platform content and saw firsthand how motion design can drive engagement, partnerships, and internal brand pride. The overwhelmingly positive response from both external audiences and internal teams highlighted the importance of thoughtful execution and collaboration in bringing a brand’s vision to life.
